Requirements
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service and/or cash handling role
- Experience using software applications to perform customer service duties
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
- Ability to travel between branch locations as needed
- Regular standing and movement, some bending and lifting
- Occasional handling of up to 40 lbs
Nice to have
- Prior bank teller transaction knowledge
What you'll actually do
- Complete individual and business account deposit and withdrawal transactions
- Complete account opening and maintenance for checking, savings and time deposits
- Maintain a working knowledge of banking products and services and promote them to customers
- Switch between the teller and customer service positions as needs arise
- Obtain new business opportunity referrals through needs-based inquiry
- Respond to customer questions and resolve problems or concerns
