Requirements

Executive level
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field
12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
5+ years as a CFO, divisional CFO, VP of Finance or comparable senior financial executive
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital and treasury
Strong experience in financial reporting, internal controls and capital planning
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience partnering directly with CEOs, presidents, boards, owners and senior operating leaders
Demonstrated success improving financial performance, systems, controls or processes

CPA; MBA or CMA also valued
Direct construction experience and construction accounting
WIP, job costing, cost-to-complete forecasting, backlog, retainage and project margin
Union workforce and CBA experience
Surety and bonding relationships
M&A, business integration and ERP or financial-system transformation

Serve as senior financial advisor to the CEO, President, Board and executive leadership team
Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
Provide executive oversight of construction accounting, WIP, job costing and revenue recognition
Lead cash-flow forecasting, treasury, working-capital management and banking relationships
Evaluate major capital investments involving cranes, fleet, fabrication equipment and facilities
Build, develop and lead the finance and accounting organization
