Requirements
Must have
- Mid level
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (BSME required)
- 3-6 years of experience in control systems engineering
- 1+ years of experience with NPSS, SCADE and Simulink
- U.S. citizenship
- Current clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Flexibility to stay late or arrive early to meet business deadlines
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations
Nice to have
- Control systems experience in aerospace or aviation, with a focus on aircraft engines
- Problem-solving skills for analyzing complex technical issues
- Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
What you'll actually do
- Update requirements and develop linked control updates
- Run, analyze and plot NPSS and dry rig test cases
- Develop simulation interfaces between engine model and control simulation
- Develop SCADE/Simulink diagrams based on requirements in CAMEO per program software standards
- Determine test protocols and create test cases for requirements-based testing
- Prepare and present review packages for informal and formal reviews
