Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and ability to meet LifeSouth's driver eligibility requirements
Customer service and communication skills
Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy while multitasking
Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Criminal background check and drug screen upon conditional offer

Perform phlebotomy and collect blood from donors per LifeSouth procedures and safety standards
Conduct donor screenings, including interviews and physical assessments, to determine eligibility
Register donors and document information throughout the donation process
Operate automated blood collection equipment and perform apheresis procedures once trained
Ensure donors are accurately identified at every step of the donation process
Educate donors about donation options and identify opportunities for automated donations

Salary: $16.50–$18.15 / hr
