Requirements

Internship level
Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school program
National and/or state intern registration, certification or licensure per state requirements
Certified or able to be certified in immunizations
1 year of retail experience
Able to perform all essential job functions of a Pharmacy Certified Technician
At least 18 years of age

National or state intern registration
Current CPR certification
High school diploma or GED
Ability to adhere to company limits on cash shortages and control loss
Ability to adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, fireworks and videos

Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement
Enter patient information into the computer accurately and efficiently
Perform post fill audits (PFAs) and assist with MTM (Medication Therapy Management) services
Support work flow and pharmacist oversight through shift leadership and delegating station rotation
Provide day-to-day training support for pharmacy associates and new techs in the training program
Act as pharmacy safety subject matter expert and coach to correctness
