Salary - $24–$38 / hr
Requirements
Must have
- Mid level
- 3+ years of building systems (HVAC, electro-mechanical) maintenance and repair experience
- Knowledge of chiller plant operations and basic HVAC and electrical maintenance
- Experience reading blueprints and mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans
- Experience with pump, bearing and fan motor replacements and faulty plumbing components
- Experience working on a computer in a Windows environment
- Must qualify as a Regular Driver under the company vehicle use policy
- Able to work day, night and weekend shift rotations, including overtime and holidays
- Exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs frequently
Nice to have
- Experience with emergency generating systems
- Experience with Automated Building Management Systems
- Knowledge of UPS systems and operations
- Experience with HVAC equipment repairs
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial kitchen equipment
What you'll actually do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building engineering systems
- Operate and repair HVAC, mechanical, life safety, electrical and plumbing systems
- Monitor and operate critical facilities equipment using the Automated Building Management System
- Build, modify and repair furniture per provided drawings and conduct large room setups for conferences
- Perform light carpentry and electrical work such as painting, drywall repairs and ballast changes
- Monitor vendors' performance of major equipment systems maintenance
