Requirements
Must have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of electrical systems including lighting, plugs, switches and emergency generators
- Understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Common knowledge of powered and non-powered tools
Nice to have
- Experience in a health care environment
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Knowledge of PLC systems
What you'll actually do
- Repair and maintain all electrical systems and equipment within the hospital, POB and clinics
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
- Exercise the emergency generators
- Perform general maintenance duties including lighting, plumbing and minor HVAC repairs
- Maintain preventative maintenance records for various equipment
