Requirements

Must have

  • Current licensure by State Board of Nursing
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Availability for on-call work and some weekend coverage
  • Standing, walking, bending, stooping and repeated stair climbing
  • Toilet and chair transfers with assistance for patients up to 150 lbs

Nice to have

  • Experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation concepts

What you'll actually do

  • Perform nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of patients
  • Conduct residential site visits to assess medical status, administer medication and perform treatments
  • Assist with weekly and/or bi-monthly medical staffings
  • Keep Nursing Department informed of all patient concerns and treatment course
  • Provide for safety of patients, visitors and staff during patient behavioral outbursts
  • Perform toilet and chair transfers using approved transfer techniques
