Senior level
Power generation systems knowledge: switch gear, power system controls, uninterruptable power supply
Diagnostics application using mechanical and electronic service tools
Electronic service tool application to maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot products
Engine systems interactions: exhaust, cooling, fuel systems, driveline, aftertreatment, controls
Product repair and maintenance of mechanical/electrical products, engines and generators
Service documentation in the service management system
Technical escalation using data management tools
Health and safety fundamentals, including Personal Protective Equipment

Establish and develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt attention to customer needs
Apply specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer site
Perform preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field per documented schedules
Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisor
Coach and develop technicians and apprentices; may provide work direction and review repair plans
Complete service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims and quality documents
