Requirements
Must have
- Lead level
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Chemo certification, PALS, NRP, FHM (unit specific)
- Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of nursing processes and their application to patient care
- Knowledge of personnel scheduling, conflict management and management techniques
- Weekend rotation
Nice to have
- Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting
What you'll actually do
- Plan, organize and supervise nursing staff
- Manage, report on and provide resources for direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient units
- Complete and maintain reports and clinical records
- Monitor critical practice indicators
- Set, communicate and monitor performance standards and expectations
- Manage emergency or crisis situations
