Requirements
Must have
- Valid forklift certification/license and a safe driving record
- Basic computer skills and ability to use a keyboard
- Able to safely operate warehouse and transfer equipment
- Able to climb ladders and stairs to navigate warehouse and silo areas
- Able to bend, climb, reach, stand and walk
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work in varying weather conditions wearing seasonal protective clothing
What you'll actually do
- Operate and monitor inbound and outbound sugar-handling equipment, including scrolls, elevators, screens and conveyors
- Ensure an adequate supply of sugar to packaging lines and the Bulk Bay
- Load, unload, transfer and ship products and materials
- Inspect trucks and complete shipping documentation, including bills of lading and certificates of analysis
- Verify load numbers, quantities, RFID tags and pallet labels prior to shipment
- Maintain accurate records of received shipments and warehouse supplies
