Requirements
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, shipping systems and general office software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Customer-service mindset
Nice to have
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics or transportation
What you'll actually do
- Enter inbound freight from Bills of Lading (BOL) into CDM and route to proper locations
- Verify skid count and document damages or shortages on the BOL; obtain driver initials
- Update the inbound schedule in Microsoft Teams
- Monitor radio communications and collaborate with the cross-dock team to resolve inbound issues
- Scan checked-out paperwork and file documentation
