Requirements
Must have
- Valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation within the past 12 months
- High school diploma or GED
- Vehicle required
- Experience driving large passenger vans
- Experience relating well to people of all ages, races and disabilities
- Knowledge and skills to respond to roadside emergencies
- Knowledge of maps and GPS platforms to plan and execute transportation routes
- Availability for mandatory AM and PM split shifts
What you'll actually do
- Work with the PC team leader or director to ensure transportation access to the PC program
- Communicate transportation availability to service recipients and organize the referral process
- Set up the weekly list of people to be transported
- Plan the route for pick-up and drop-off of service recipients
- Provide transportation to and from Bridgeway Partial Care
- Maintain time and mileage records and the van transportation log
