Requirements

Senior level
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
Bachelor's degree in occupational or environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, or related field
7+ years of progressive occupational safety, EHS or risk management experience, including leadership
Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations, compliance requirements and risk management principles
Demonstrated success leading safety programs and influencing a culture of safety
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business systems
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed
Ability to move through a large indoor and outdoor campus and lift up to 35 lbs

Lead development and execution of the safety and risk management strategy
Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and industry best practices
Oversee safety programs, audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective action planning
Foster a culture of safety through training, education, employee engagement and leadership partnership
Support emergency preparedness, business continuity and organizational resilience initiatives
Monitor safety metrics, identify trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
