Requirements
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Compassion, patience and a commitment to trauma-informed care
Nice to have
- Mental health experience
- Lived experience
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese)
What you'll actually do
- Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills
- Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance
- Administer and supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Advocate for residents' needs and model healthy coping strategies
- Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation
