Requirements

Mid level
Bachelor's degree in a human services field, or any field with 2 years of related human services experience
Considerable experience in assigned program area and completion of required training programs
Considerable knowledge of social work principles and practices
Skill in operating a personal computer and associated software
Skill in the operation of a motor vehicle
Ability to interview, assess needs, counsel and refer clients to other resources
Ability to plan and manage own work, including reports, correspondence and record keeping
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Master's degree in a human services field
Some relevant social work experience
Bilingual or multilingual proficiency, particularly Spanish or other community languages

Prepare participants for FPMs and FGCs, facilitate the meetings and complete follow-up activities
Provide case consultation around referrals for Family Engagement best practices
Apply clinical and strength-based interventions throughout the FPM and FGC process
Ensure safety planning issues are addressed in preparation of every Family Engagement meeting
Document case contacts and FPM plans in OASIS
Serve as a VEMAT rater assessing needs of children in foster care
