Requirements
Must have
- Internship level
- Actively pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in graphic arts
- Knowledge of CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Basic working knowledge of production art skills and terminology
- Legally authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
- Background check, education verification and drug test
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to enter data
Nice to have
- Knowledge of imprinting methods
- Experience in the promotional products industry
What you'll actually do
- Create electronic images for imprinting promotional items per customer service instructions
- Create clean vector images from faxes and customer-provided bitmapped images
- Typeset and provide proofs for customers' orders
- Create line illustrations from photos and items
- Convert various file types into images usable for vector-based art
- Alter existing images and layouts for imprinting on other items
