Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driving License (CDL) with Hazmat (H) endorsement
Other CDL endorsements as required (e.g. tanker, air brakes)
40-hour HAZWOPER training
Valid DOT medical certification
High school diploma or GED
Prior commercial driving experience
Knowledge of DOT regulations for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Must be okay with being clean-shaven

Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated sites
Perform daily inspections of vehicle and/or trailer prior to driving
Review shipment records, manifests, container labeling, vehicle placards and cargo security
Ensure DOT paperwork such as driver log books, permits and IFTA fuel stickers is up to date and valid
Consult with customers on load conditions, drum counts or paperwork inconsistencies
Assist in the loading/unloading of materials at designated sites
