Requirements
Must have
- Valid CDL or driver license and qualifying driving record
- Up-to-date medical card
- Qualified to drive the truck the company owns
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment to perform the job
- Ability to use GPS delivery software, read a map and follow directions
- Knowledge of local area
- Writing skills for accident reports and company paperwork; basic math skills
- Lift up to 80 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs
What you'll actually do
- Deliver products to customer jobsites
- Pick up products from customer jobsites in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Maintain daily pre- and post-trip inspection reports
- Maintain a daily manifest or use delivery software as directed
- Assist in order pulling and loading of trucks, and warehouse/counter when not driving
- Report delivery discrepancies, accidents and needed truck repairs to supervisor immediately
