Requirements

Lead level
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience with IT and networking systems in a data center environment or equivalent
Minimum 1 technical certification or equivalent work experience
Experience with dynamic colocation and managed services environments
Strong working knowledge of data center architectures and systems for raised floor space
Comprehension of data center core infrastructure (power, cooling, fire protection)
Proficiency with DCIM principles and applications and strong proficiency with ServiceNow
Ability to work all shift schedules 7x24x365 and be on-call for off-hour emergencies

Oversee daily operations and white space projects, acting as primary liaison with Data Center Managers
Lead a team of technicians, providing mentoring, coaching and daily huddles
Provide onboarding and hands-on data center training to team members
Manage the ServiceNow ticketing queue, triaging tickets by priority to meet SLA requirements
Perform quality checks and delegate them to experienced data center technicians
Provide guidance on physical installation and power-up (Rack & Stack) of servers and network equipment
