Requirements

Valid Georgia Educator Certificate (held or eligible) or district's professional qualifications
Abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators
Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community
Exceptional integrity and commitment to confidentiality
Regular, predictable and reliable attendance at the physical worksite
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting
Bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
Ability to supervise students, particularly during emergency situations

Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with established guidelines
Instruct and monitor students, using relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
Manage student behavior inside and outside the classroom according to established guidelines
Assign and grade classwork, homework, and assessments and provide meaningful feedback
Observe and assess student performance and maintain accurate records of student progress
