What you'll actually do
- Supervise students during the daily lunch shift to ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff and facilities
- Ensure cafeteria norms and expectations are followed using positive reinforcement and clear expectations
- Maintain the schedule for grade levels, overseeing transitions, monitoring time and giving time warnings
- Assist students through the serving line as needed
- Direct students to tables as needed
- Interact warmly with students while they eat
