Requirements

Must have

  • Lead level
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and sound communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Walking, sitting or standing to a significant degree
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and less than 10 lbs frequently

What you'll actually do

  • Execute daily production schedules and associated metrics for the shift
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met across the department
  • Coach employees to identify safety hazards and address unsafe conditions and behaviors
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance
  • Utilize visual tools to monitor shift productivity and enact PDCA as needed
  • Provide on-the-job training and ongoing standard work audits
