Aircraft Parts Technician job in Miramar, FL, USA. by PROPULSION TECHNOLOGIES
Requirements
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Mechanical ability with power tools, hand tools and specialty equipment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Near vision of 20/25 (Snellen) at 16" in at least one eye and ability to distinguish process colors
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
- Availability to work 2nd shift, Mon–Fri 2:30pm–11:00pm
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
What you'll actually do
- Perform maintenance and repair or overhaul on aviation components per approved technical data
- Perform repair processes for engine components undergoing repair/overhaul
- Inspect and measure component dimensions with calipers, micrometers and depth gauges
- Disassemble, assemble and install parts for inspection
- Operate power tools and equipment
- Work with engineering to identify failure modes and perform root cause analysis
