Requirements
Must have
- Lead level
- 5+ years of experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing production environment
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 2+ years of direct supervisory experience
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Problem analysis and resolution
What you'll actually do
- Supervise, train, motivate and mentor production employees
- Analyze setup time, review labor hours and meet production control schedules
- Define expected production standards and monitor performance of assigned personnel
- Provide leadership in safety, machine operation, sanitation, quality, customer service and maintenance
- Review production orders or schedules to plan department operations
- Implement continuous improvement processes that increase productivity and reduce production costs
